What is motillism? An image that delivers two levels of communication - one is the image when seen from a distance, the other the text that can be read, or dipped into to just read a small section. Created using unique software, motillism can be applied to any image/text pairs as long as licensing/copyright is agreed. It works due to the brain's remarkable ability to see what's not there. The images deliver only about 50% of what the viewer thinks they see, the mind fills in the spaces - remarkable!

What sizes are available? Any size, from postcard to the side of the house of commons? Let us know what you're looking for, we'll set about getting the job done. (please note that, on this site, we currently only sell A2/A1 sized prints)

Can I have one made as a gift or for advertising or other uses using images/photos that I have along with my choice of text? Certainly, let us know what you're looking to create, using the 'commissions' link and we should be able to accommodate your request.

I'm a Port Vale/Stirling Albion/Mary Shelly fan - there's nothing here for my interests! If enough people suggest a particular subject matter, we'll get your image up as soon as possible. If you make your suggestion using the 'suggestions' link, we'll email you when that piece is ready.

If I buy a sports results type of print, in a year it will be out of date! Yes, it will be, but you can get a copy at the end of each period for half price when you return your previous poster to us - that way you will always be up to date.

Why are there some unlicensed and not for sale images on the site? These images are by way of example of what can, and hopefully will, be available in the near future. I would invite anyone interested in receiving such prints to register their interest and, as soon as licensing is sorted, we'll get in touch to let you know that it's available. I would also invite any license holders to get in touch to see how we can together get these prints out.
